IP67 rated waterproof USB microB and Type-C receptacle
Waterproof USB connector with an IP67 rating for foreign object ingress protection (IP).
This connector, which provides protection from water droplets and environmental pollutants, is available in USB Micro B and Type C receptacle formats, and depending on the model, complies with either USB 2.0 or USB 3.1 Gen 2 standards. CUI's USB receptacles feature surface mount and vertical or horizontal mid-mount SMT mount styles, with some models incorporating a design with plastic mount tabs for greater stability on the PCB. These waterproof USB connectors, with a durability of up to 10,000 mating cycles and a temperature range of -40 to 85°C, offer highly reliable solutions for home appliances and portable electronic devices. Additionally, all models are compatible with reflow soldering, adding flexibility to the assembly process.
